51 Hazrat Syed MAnzoor Hussain RT on the Honour and Status of the knowledge of Sardar-ul-anbiya Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ- a detailed discussion

ایک دفعہ حضرت شیخ سید منظور حسین (رض) نے ایک شخص سے جس کا یہ کہنا تھا کہ موت کا علم اللہ تعالی کے سوا اور کسی کو نہیں ہوسکتا، اختلاف کرتے ھوے فرمایا کہ وہ یہ کیسے کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ حضرت محمد صلی اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اللہ پاک نے یہ علم نہیں عطا کیا ھو گا، پھر فرمایا حضور صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو بھی اللہ پاک نے یہ علم عطا فرمایا ھے- اس شخص نے حضرت شیخ (رح) سے اختلاف کیا، تو حضرت شیخ نے اس سے سوال کیا، کہ کیا حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا مرتبہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام سے بلند نہیں ھے؟ تو اس شخص نے جواب دیا جی ہاں، بیشک بلند ھے، پھر حضرت شیخ نے ان سے سوال کیا اور کیا حضرت عزرائیل علیہ السلام کا درجہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام سے کم نہیں ھے؟ تو اس شخص نے پھر جواب دیا جی ہاں حضرت عزرائیل علیہ السلام کا درجہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام سے بیشک کم ھے، حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام تمام ملائکہ، فرشتوں کے سردار ہیں، حضرت شیخ (رح) نے پھر ان سے فرمایا کہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام ملائکہ کے سردار ہیں، اور حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سردار الأنبياء ھیں، انسان اشرف المخلوقات ھے، اور حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تمام انبیاء کے جو کہ بلند ترین مخلوق ھیں کہ سردار ہیں، تو حضرت عزرائیل علیہ السلام کا درجہ تو حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے یقینا کم ھے، اور جب اللہ تعالیٰ نے حضرت عزرائیل علیہ السلام کو موت کا علم دیا ھے، تو کیا اس نے اپنے محبوب، سردار الانبیاء، رحمت اللعالمین کو یہ علم نہیں دیا ھو گا(شرح: قرآن کی آیات سورۃ الحجر اور دوسری متعدد آیات میں یہ درج ھے کہ جب اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی نے ایک نبی حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کو پیدا فرمایا تو تمام ملائکہ کو احترام نبوت اور احترام علم نبوت کے آگے تعظیمی سجدہ کرنے کا حکم دیا- حضرت آدم علیہ السلام ایک نبی کو تمام اسماء کا علم عطا کیا، تو تمام ملائکہ حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کے علم کے آگےحیران رہ گئے، اللہ کے حکم کی تعمیل کی، اور جب ابلیس نے نافرمانی کی تو ہمیشہ کے لیے معلون ہوا- تو جب ایک نبی کے علم کا یہ معاملہ ھے تو جو سردار انبیاء ہیں، ان کے علم کا کیا حال ہوگا جو اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کو عطا فرمایا، اللہ سبحانہ و تعالی نے محمد صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم کو رحمتہ اللعالمین، تمام عالموں کے لیے بلا تخصیص رحمت بھی بنایا جس میں عالم سکرات، عالم قبر اور عالم ممات بھی شامل ھیں)

Translation:

Once Hazrat Sheikh Syed Manzoor Hussain (RT) was in conversation with a person who claimed that the knowledge of death is only with Allah (SWT) and no one else is given this knowledge. Hazrat Sheikh (RT) said that how can he say that Allah (SWT) has not given this knowledge to Prophet Muhammad (SAW)? Hazrat Sheikh (RT) stated that indeed Allah (SWT) has given this knowledge to Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). The man in conversation was not convinced so Hazrat Sheikh (RT) asked him that is not the status of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) greater than that of Hazrat Jibrail (AS)? To which he said yes, indeed it is greater. So then Hazrat Sheikh (RT) asked that is not the rank of Hazrat Izraeel (AS) below the rank of Hazrat Jibrail (AS)? So he replied that indeed the status of Hazrat Izraeel (AS) is surely below the rank of Hazrat Jibrail (AS) as Hazrat Jibrail (AS) is the ‘Sardar-ul-Malayak’ (the leader of all angels). Hazrat Sheikh (RT) then said that as Hazrat Jibrail (AS) is the leader of all ‘Malayak’ (angels), Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is the leader of all Prophets (AS). Human beings are the best of all creations (Ashraf-ul-makhlooqaat) and Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is the leader of all the Prophets (AS) (Sardar-ul-anbiya), who are the best of all creation. Hence, the rank of Hazrat Izraeel (AS) is indeed below the rank of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW). And when Allah (SWT) has given the knowledge of death to Hazrat Izraeel (AS), then wouldn’t he have given it to his beloved ‘Sardar-ul-anbiya’, ‘Rehmat-ul-lil-alameen’ ?(Explanation: In the Holy Quran, in so many ayats (Surah Al Hijr) and in other ayats, it is stated that when the Prophet, Hazrat Adam (AS) was created, all the ‘malayak’ (angels) were ordered to pay respect to his Prophethood and the knowledge of Prophethood by prostating in respect. Allah (SWT) had imparted the knowledge of all His names (‘isma”) to His Prophet Adam (AS). All angels were astounded by this knowledge of a Prophet, and prostrated in respect. When Iblees (Satan) disobeyed Allah (SWT) (by refusing to bow down to Hazrat Adam (AS)), he was damned forever. So when the honour and respect of the knowledge of a Prophet (nabi) is as such, then what would be the honour and status of the knowledge of the ‘Leader of all Prophets’? Allah (SWT) has made Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) a blessing for all creations, all worlds (Alams) without discrimination (Rehmat-ul-lil-alameen) and this status includes the knowledge of the realm of ‘sakarat’, grave and death).
