57 Hazrat Syed MAnzoor Hussain (RT) explaining the concept of Shirk (Polytheism)

ENGLISH TRANSLATION GIVEN BELOW:

ایک دفعہ ایک شخص کے سوال کے جواب میں حضرت شیخ سید منظور حسین رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہٗ نے شرک کی وضاحت فرمائی, فرمایا کہ شرک کئ قسم کا ہوتا ھے ،اللہ تعالی کی ذات میں کسی کو شریک کرنا ،اللہ تعالی کی صفات میں کسی کو شریک کرنا وغیرہ، حضرت شیخ (رض) نے فرمایا کہ ہمیں یقین رکھنا چاہیے کہ اللہ ہی مالک اور قادر ھے، جو کچھ ہوتا ہے اللہ تعالی کے حکم اور مرضی سے ہوتا ھے ،ایک پتہ بھی اللہ تعالی کی مرضی کے خلاف نہیں ہل سکتا، اور جو کچھ بھی کسی کو عطا ھوا ھے اللہ تعالی نے ھی عطا کیا ھے ، اگر اللہ تعالی نہ چاھے تو کسی کو کچھ بھی مل نہیں سکتا نہ ھی کوئی کسی کو کچھ دے سکتا ھے، جس پر بھی جو عنایت ھے یا جس کو جو بھی اختیار حاصل ھے وہ اللہ تعالی ھی کا دیا ہوا ھے،اللہ تعالی کا ھر اختیار ذاتی ھے باقی سب کا عطائ ھے (اللہ تعالی کا عطا کردہ) چاھے وہ انبیاء علیہ سلام ھوں یا اولیاء اکرام، اللہ تعالی کی مرضی کے بغیر کوئی کسی کو نہ کچھ دے سکتا ھے نہ ہی لے سکتا ھے ،اللہ تعالی جب چاھے جو چاھے جس کو چاھے( کوئی اختیار ) دے بھی سکتا ھے اور جب چاھے واپس لے بھی سکتا ھے، یہ سمجھنا کہ اللہ تعالی کی مرضی کے بغیر کوئی کسی کو کچھ دے سکتا ھے یا اللہ تعالی کے سوا کسی کا کچھ بھی ذاتی ھے تو یہ شرک ھے، جو کچھ بھی کسی کو حاصل ھے( کوئی اختیار یا فضل) سب اللہ سبحانہ وتعالی کی عنایت اور رحمت ھے۔

English translation :

Once Hazrat Manzoor Hussain (RA) in response to a question explained that: ‘Shirk’ (polytheism) is of several types: to associate someone with Allah Ta’ala or His attributes or His Powers etc. Hazrat Sheikh (RA) said that we should have complete faith that only Allah is the Absolute Master and only He has Absolute Power. Whatever happens is by His Will and is ordained by Him, not even a leaf can stir against His Will. Whatever power is given to anyone is bestowed upon him only by Allah Ta’ala. Without Allah’s Will no one can get anything nor can any one give anything to anyone. What ever blessing is on anyone or whatever power he has, is given to him only by Allah Ta’ala. All Powers of Allah Ta’ala are His Own and personal whereas all others have received whatever they have from Allah whether they are Prophets (AS) or Auliya e Ikram, none can give or take something from anyone without Allah’s Will. Whereas, Allah Ta’ala whenever He wants, can give whatever (any power) to any one He wants, and can also take it back whenever He wants. To think that anyone can give someone something without Allah’s Will or to think that except Allah any one’s powers are his own or personal, is ‘Shirk ‘(poly theism). Whatever any one has (any power or blessing) is all only Allah’s grace and mercy upon him.
