Saying of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Haji Maulana Manzoor Hussain Sindhi Madani (RT):
حضرت شیخ سید منظور حسین (رح) نے فرمایا کہ کوئی آسمانوں پر اڑ کر دکھا دے یا پانیوں سمندر پر چل کر دکھا دے اسے کبھی بزرگ نہیں ماننا جب تک اس میں شریعت مبارکہ کی پابندی نہیں دیکھو اصل بزرگی اور کرامت حضرت محمد ﷺ کی شریعت کی پیروی اور اتباع ھے (مزید فرمایا کہ دلوں کا حال بیان کرنا کرامتیں دکھانا اگر اتباع شریعت کے بغیر ہو تو اس کی کوئ اھمیت نھیں ھے یہ چیزیں تو غیر مسلم بھی نفس کی مخالفت کر کے حاصل کر لیتے ھیں اصل چیز شریعت کا اتباع ھے، اللہ کے ولیوں کو کیا کچھ حاصل نہیں ہوتا مگر وہ صرف جب تک کوئی مصلحت نہیں ہوتی یا حکم نہیں ہوتا وہ اپنی کرامتیں ظاہر کرنا پسند نہیں فرماتے یہ کرامتیں حال احوال وغیرہ بیان کرنا شوق اور ایمان بڑھانے کے لئے ہوتے ہیں اصل چیز شریعۃ مبارکہ کا اتباع ھی ھے) -حضرت شیخ سید منظور حسین رح
English Translation of a saying of Hazrat Syed Manzoor Hussain RT: Do not ever consider any one a Saint, even if he is seen flying in the sky or walking upon waters or seas, unless you see the following of the Shariat mubarak in him. The real sainthood and miracle is the adherence and following of Shariat Mubarak of Prophet ﷺ (He further added that to manifest your miracles or narrate prophecies without proper following of the Shariat has no value or importance, as such things can be achieved by non muslims too just by negating their nafs (self). The actual and real thing is adherence to Shariat mubarak. What not has been given to the Saints of Allah (swt)? But they do not like to manifest karamats (miracles) unless they are ordered or it is essential for guidance. These miracles or narration of prophecies are just to increase the faith and fervour but the real thing is following of the Shariat and ways of the Prophet) ﷺ
