ذِکرِ حق آمد غذا ایں روح را”

“مرھم آمد ایں دلِ مجروح را

اللہ تعالی کا ذکر جو ہے ہمارے روح کی غذا ہے جس طریقے سے جسم کی غذا کھانا ہے, اس طریقے سے روح کی غذا اللہ تعالی کا ذکر ہے اور یہ ہمارا دل جو اللہ تعالی کے فراق میں مغموم ہے اور اللہ تعالی کے ہجر میں زخمی ہوگیا ہے ان زخموں کے لئے ذکر جو ہے وہ علاج ہے, ذکر جو ہے وہ مرہم ہے

Hazrat Syed Manzoor Hussain (RT):

It is the ‘Zikr’ of Allah (remembrance of Allah) which is the nourishment of our soul (‘ruh’). Just as food is the nourishment of the body, similarly the soul’s nourishment is the ‘Zikr’ of Allah. And our heart is grieved by this separation from Allah, and is wounded by this parting from Allah. Zikr is the cure and balm for these wounds.

ذِکر را اخلاص می با ید نہ خستُ ”

“ذکر بے اخلاص کے باشد درست

ذکر کے لیے اخلاص شرط ہے اخلاص کا مطلب ہے خالص اللہ تعالی کے لیے کیا جائے اس میں اور کوئی غرض نہ ہو اور یہ غرض ہو کہ یا اللہ تو ہی مقصود ہے, تو ہی مطلوب ہے, تو ہی محبوب ہے, تو ہی معبود ہے, تو ہی موجود ہے

Sincerity is imperative for Zikr. By sincerity it’s meant that it should be done purely for Allah without any other purpose. The sole purpose should be: O’ Allah! You are the objective, You are the desired One, You are the beloved, only You are the one who is worshipped and You are Omnipresent.

“یَا اَللہُ اَنتَ مَقصُودِی وَ رِضَاکَ مَطلوُبِی”

یا اللہ تیری ہی ذات ہمارا مقصود ہے اور تیری ہی رضا جو ہے وہی مطلوب ہے

“O’ Allah, You alone is our Objective and its only Your pleasure that is desired”
