35 Hazrat Syed Manzoor Hussain RT advising his disciples to use proper words while giving any offering to avoid misunderstanding

ایک دفعہ حضرت شیخ سید منظور حسین ؒ نے اپنے ایک مرید کی تصحیح فرماتے ھوئے فرمایا کہ کوئی بھی چیز ، پیسہ ، کوئی طعام ،کھانا خیرات ، نذر ، نیاز اور جو بھی ختم قرآن وغیرہ کرتے ھو صرف اور صرف اللہ کے نام پہ دیا اور کیا کرو , ھاں تم یہ کہہ سکتے ھو کہ اس کا ثواب فلاں کو پہنچے جس کو بھی تم پہنچانا چاہتے ھو جیسے انبیاء علیہ سلام کو اھل بیعت اکرام کو ، اپنے مشائخ یا والدین کو یا جس کسی کو بھی تم ثواب پہنچانا چاہتے ھو , اس کی نیت کرو اور دعا کرو ، مزید فرمایا کہ الفاظ کے غلط استعمال سے دوسرے لوگ غلط فہمی کا شکار ھوسکتے ہیں ، اور اعتراض کرسکتے ہیں, گو کہ نیت تمہاری بھی ٹھیک ھو مگر الفاظ کا استعمال بھی صحیح کرنا چاہیے

English Translation:

Once Hazrat Sheikh Syed Manzoor Hussain(RT), while advising his disciple said that, whatever you give whether its money, alms, charity, food or any offering or any good deed that is done like recitation of the Koran Shareef, should be given and done only in the name of Allah Taalaa. Yes you can make this ‘Niyat’ (have an intention) and can pray that may Allah Taalaa grant its reward (sawab) to any holy personality like Prophets (AS), Ahle Bait (AS), the Prophet’s Companions (RT), your Mashaikh or your parents and whom so ever you want. He further added, that one should be cautious about the proper use of words. Even if your intention is right, the inadvertent choice of words may result in a misunderstanding . Therefore, despite the right intention, use of the proper words is needed.
