64 a saying of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Manzoor Hussain (R.T.) about the wisdom of an Important Sunnat of Holy Prophet ﷺ

Followed by English translation of a saying of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Manzoor Hussain (R.T.) about the wisdom of an Important Sunnat of Holy Prophet( صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم ).

سیدھے ھاتھ کے استعمال کی حکمت:ایک دفعہ حضرت شیخ سید منظور حسین رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ نے ایک سوال کے جواب میں دایاں ھاتھ کے استمال کی حکمت بیان فرمائی۔ حضرت شیخ (رض) نے اس سوال کے جواب میں فرمایا کہ وہ قرآن سے اس بات کی وضاحت کریں یا سائنٹیفک طریقے سے، حضرت شیخ (رض) سے عرض کی گئ کہ جیسے چاہیں بیان فرمائیں، تو حضرت شیخ (رض) نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے انسان کے جسم میں ایک طرف کو زیادہ طاقت دی ھے اور دوسری طرف کو کم دی ھے، تو جس طرف کو کم طاقت دی گئی ھے اس طرف سے وہ کام لینا جو کہ اس کی طاقت سے زیادہ ہو تو اس پر یہ ظلم ہوگا۔ ھمیں چاہیے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنت پر عمل کرتے ھوے دایاں ہاتھ(زیادہ طاقت والے) کا استعمال پہلے کریں ۔ پھر جب روز قیامت جن کے اعمال اچھے ھوں گےتو فرشتے ان کے اعمال نامہ انکے دائیں ہاتھ میں دیں گے اور جن کے اعمال اچھے نہیں ھوں گے تو ان کو اعمال نامہ بائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا ،اگر اعمال نامہ بائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جائے گا تو جس انسان کو زندگی میں رسول اللہ حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنت پر عمل کرتے ہوئے دایاں ہاتھ سے چیزیں پکڑنے کی عادت ہوگی تو وہ کہے گا کہ مجھے میرا اعمال نامہ دائیں ہاتھ میں دیں ،تو فرشتے کہیں گے کہ آپ کے اعمال ایسےنہیں ھیں کہ اعمال نامہ دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جاسکے، تو وہ شخص کہے گا کہ یہ میرے نبی صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم کی سنت ھے، تو فرشتے اس سے پوچھیں گے کہ تمہارے نبی کون ھیں؟ وہ شخص جواب دیے گا کہ حضرت محمد صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم ، تو فرشتے حضور صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم سے رجوع کریں گے(احترام سنت میں) اور کہیں گے کہ آپ کا امتی بایاں ہاتھ میں اعمال نامہ نہیں لے رہا جبکہ اس کے اعمال بائیں ہاتھ والے ہیں، تو حضور صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم فرمائیں گے کہ اس اعمال نامے کو ابھی رکھ دو جب وقت آئے گا تو اس وقت دے دینا، جب روز حشر وقت آئے گا اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم اس مقام محمود پر فائز ھوں گے جس کا وعدہ اللہ تعالٰی نے حضور اکرم سے فرمایا ھے تو اگر کسی شخص نے کسی اور بندے کا حق مارا ہو گا تو حضور اکرم اس شخص سے جس کا حق مارا ھو گا اس سے فرمائیں گے کہ اس فلاں شخص کو اپنا حق معاف کر دو ،اور اس کے بدلے ہم سے کچھ لے لو، اور اس شخص سے جس کا حق مارا گیا ھو گا اس سے معاملہ فرمائیں گے۔ (حقوق اللہ تو اللہ تعالٰی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم کی شفاعت سے جیسے چاھے گا بخش دے گا مگر حقوق العباد کے لئے جس کا حق مارا ھے اس کی معافی بھی ضروری ھے) ہر امتی کو اس وقت اس شخص سمیت حضور اکرم کی مدد اور شفاعت کی ضرورت ھو گی تاکہ اللہ تعالٰی کے یہاں اس کی بھی بخشش ھو سکے، سو وہ اپنا حق معاف کر دے گا، اس طرح آہستہ آہستہ اس شخص کے جس نے کسی کا حق مارا ھو گا اس کے گناہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم کی مدد و شفاعت سےکم ھوتے جائیں گے ،اس طرح آہستہ آہستہ اس کا نامہ اعمال اس قابل ہو جائے گا کہ اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں دیا جا سکے، آپ شفیع الامم ھیں، اس دن حضور اکرم کو اللہ تعالٰی کی اجازت ہوگی، آپ گنہگاروں کی مقبول شفاعت کریں گے۔ (آپ کو کوثر یعنی ھر چیز کی کثرت بھی عطا ھوگی ) وضاحت:(حضرت شیخ رض اس مقام محمود اورشفاعت کا ذکر کر رھے ھیں جس کا ذکر قرآن 17:79 اور تفصیل مستند احادیث بخاری و مسلم سب میں ھے، جس کی دعا ھم ھر اذان کے بعدکرتے ھیں ،وہ مقام محمود، شفاعت، وسیلہ ، بلند درجہ و فضیلت جس کا وعدہ اللہ تعالٰی نے حضرت محمد صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم سے فرمایا ھے کہ روز حشر اللہ تعالی ان کی شفاعت گنہگار مسلمانوں کے لیے قبول فرمائے گا، اور آپ کی شفاعت سے ان گنہگاروں کو معاف فرمائے گا جن کے دل میں ذرا سا بھی ایمان ھو گا۔یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم کی اتباع سنت کے ثمرات ھیں)

English translation:

The Wisdom of Using Right Hand:
Once Hazrat Sheikh Syed Manzoor Hussain (RT), in response to a question explained the wisdom of preference for using the right hand. He asked whether to explain it from the Holy Koran or with scientific reason. He was requested to explain it any way he wants. Hazrat Sheikh (R.A) then continued that Allah Ta’ala has given more strength to one side of the human body than the other. Hazrat Sheikh(R۔A) then said that it would be unfair and cruel to make the side that is less strong to do work beyond its capacity. It is desired that while following the tradition of the Prophet Mohammad(صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم) to use the right hand(stronger one) first. On the Day of Judgement, the people with more good deeds will be given their record of deeds in their right hand whereas those with more evil deeds would be given their record of deeds in their left hand. Now if someone in his life has accustomed himself to take things in the right hand in compliance with the Prophet’s( S.A.W.S) Sunnat( tradition) & when he is given the record in the left hand, the person would insist that it should be given in the right hand. The angels would say that your record of deeds is not such as can be handed in the right hand. He would say that by following the tradition of my Prophet (SAWS), I will only take it in my right hand. The angels would ask who is your Prophet? When the person would take the name of the Prophet Mohammed (صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم), the angels (out of respect for the Prophet’s S.A.W.S tradition) would consult the Prophet (S.A.W.S) about this person not taking the record of deeds in the left hand though his record is such as to be given in his left hand . The Prophet (SAWS) would tell the angels to keep it aside and to hand it over when the time comes. On the Day of Judgement when the time will come & Prophet (صلی اللہ وعلیہ وسلم) will be stationed upon Maqam e Mahmood (the highest station of praise) as promised by Allah Taala , if anyone has deprived some other of his right then the Prophet (صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم) would ask the one who was deprived of his right to forgive the violater & in return he would reward him with his help & ‘shaafat” . On the day of Judgement the Prophet (S.A.W.S) would be at Maqam e Mahmood (Highest Station of Praise) as promised by Allah Ta’ala. For the sake of his ummati who has refused to take the record of deeds in the left hand, he would negotiate with the person whose right he has violated to forgive his right upon him and in return would be compensated for his own deficiency and need,(on the day of Judgement Allaha Ta’ala may pardon His rights “Haqooqul Allah” upon people because of the intercession of the Prophet صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم due to the right of intercession Allah has given to Prophet Mohammad S.A.W.S , but to forgive the violated rights of people “Haqooq ul ibaad”the forgiveness of the person whose right has been violated is also needed ). As all would be needing the Prophet’s help and ‘Shafaat’ , the person whose right has been violated would eagerly forgive his violated rights upon the other as he himself like all others would be desperately in need of Prophet”s (SAWS) help & shafaat to seek Allah’s pardon for his sins. This way the sins of the person whose record of deeds was kept aside would gradually reduce till his record of deeds would qualify to be given in the right hand. Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ وعلیہ وسلم) is the Shaffiul Ummam (intercessor for the ummats), on this Day he is granted permission from Allah Ta’ala for “shafaat” intercession for the wrong doers.(The Prophet صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم is also blessed with ‘Kausar’ i.e abundance of everything).

Explanation: (Hazrat Sheikh(RA) is talking about Maqam e Mahmood and Shafaat (The Highest station of Praise and Intercession) which is mentioned in the Holy Koran (17:79) and details are present in all authentic books of Hadith including Bukhari and Muslim Sharif. Its the same station for which we request in our supplication after Azan(call for prayer), the Maqam e Mahmood, Station of ‘Shafaat”, ‘Waseela’ (intermediary) the most elevated rank, which Allah Ta’ala has promised His Prophet (SAWS). On the Day of Judgement Allah Ta’ala will accept the ‘Shafaat’ of the Prophet Muhammed (صلی اللہ و علیہ وسلم) for the Muslims and would forgive the sins of sinners who will have even a little bit of faith in their hearts. Insha Allah, these are the friuts of following the Prophet’s SAWS tradition in life).
